I thought also that I could force the quest to progress to the next stage through console commands, but I don't know which is the next stage (theorically it should be stage 100, but that stage takes for granted that I have recovered all three pieces of the amulet).Ĭan anyone help me? What should I do, go on with the quest even if it's bugged, or use the console to try and debug it? Now I have the amulet fragment from Saarthal, I could look up for where the other fragments are located on the UESP, but before continuing I would be sure that the quest is finishable. I checked with the console, and it says I am at stage 33 of the quest, which is I believe an empty stage (in fact, the journal entry for the quest is the one for stage 9). The quest marker points me to a book in the library of the College of Winterhold, "Lost Legends", but if I read or even if I pick up the book the quest won't update, staying at the same stage indefinitely. The problem is, the quest won't progress. I got the quest when I read the note on Saarthal's boss, then forgot about it until now since I had more important things to do. I am quite far in my first Special Edition playthrough (defeated Alduin, Ancano, and got 9 daedric artifacts, as well as completed many side quests), and am now trying to do the quest "Forbidden Legend".
